TicketGays ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use our platform.
When you use TicketGays, we collect: • Account information: your email address and the display name you choose. • Listing data: event details, pricing, and contact information you voluntarily provide in listings. • Messages: in-app messages sent between users regarding ticket listings. • Usage data: pages visited and actions taken within the app, used to improve the experience. We do not collect your legal name or any payment card details (payments are processed securely by Stripe).
We use the information we collect to: • Operate and maintain the TicketGays marketplace. • Display your listings and profile to other users. • Deliver in-app messages between buyers and sellers. • Send email notifications you opt into (e.g., ticket availability alerts). • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, or abuse. • Improve and develop new features.
• Listing information (event name, price, contact info you enter) is public and visible to all visitors. • Your display name and avatar are shown alongside your listings and messages. • Your real name and email address are never shared publicly. • We do not sell your personal data to third parties. • We may share data with service providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, Resend for email) solely to operate the platform.
Payments for listing fees are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs any data you provide during checkout. You can review it at stripe.com/privacy.
We retain your account and listing data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time via the Profile settings screen, which will also remove your active listings. Inactive accounts may be removed after an extended period of inactivity.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password for your account and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
TicketGays is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
